Willie "Bill" Youngblood, 73, passed away on Saturday, January 1, 2022.
Visitation Service: 6-8pm Friday, January 7, 2022, at Skyvue Victoria Chapel.
Willie was born on October 22, 1948, in Alabama to his mother and father Louise and William Youngblood.
Affiliations: VFW 8911 located in Fort Worth, Texas.
As he grew into adulthood Willie moved to Fort Worth, Texas where he found his love, Shirley Halcomb. Shirley became a Youngblood on February 21, 2003, in Fort Worth, Texas. Willie was in the Vietnam War and became a veteran of United States Army years later. He was a hardworking man, working for Fort Worth Gear and Axle for many years. He enjoyed playing pool, darts, dancing, cooking and getting down and dirty in the yard as well as taking a spin on the motorcycle.
He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Louise and William Youngblood; step-father; sister; and step-daughter.
Those who are left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Shirley Youngblood. Special dog, Prissy Youngblood; children; grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; sister-in-law and son in law. The family would like to give a special thanks to the care Willie received at Brookdale Hospice-Clear Path to Ms. Tamara.
