Sammie was born on January 8, 1961, to Willie Samuel Wright and Edna Lee Anderton Wright in Decatur, Texas.
He was a truck driver who worked for Rowdy Transport. Sammie loved being outside, driving tractors, shooting firearms and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Edna Wright.
He leaves to cherish his memory and continue his legacy his daughter, Misty Fulton and her husband Michael Fulton; sister, Althea Turner and her husband Will Turner; grandchildren, Samual and Alice Fulton; niece, Emma Turner; nephew, Seth Turner; other dear family, Kelly Lee, Jacob Lee, Zachary Lee and former wife, Eugena Musselman.
