Willodeen Sanders-Smith-Little-Witt, known as Dean, but to most she was simply called "Meme," was born June 14, 1925, in Tyler to Nathan Andrew and Hattie Bell Sanders.
She was a member of Glenview Baptist Church where she was active in the Triple L Group. She was a member of the Haltom City Senior Center where she volunteered on a regular basis. She loved working in her garden, bowling, shopping at flea markets, sewing and making jewelry. She would sit and work puzzles with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, play games and ride go-carts with them. Our Meme was full of life, young at heart and was always on the go.
Survivors: Brother, Clifford Sanders; daughter, Linda Floyd Basey and husband, Bill; sons, Charles Ray Smith and wife, Veeda, and Rick Little and wife, Nicki; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
