Patricia J. Wilson, of Mansfield, Texas, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2023 at the age of 79.
Celebration of Life Service: 10:00am Friday, February 10, 2023 at Skyvue Funeral Home, Mansfield, Texas.
Patricia was born on May 25, 1943 in New York, New York to Joseph Joyce and Emily Joyce Gurdak.
She received her bachelor's degree in Biology at NYU and then went on to work at the VA Hospital. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, going on trips in the RV, diving into a great book and spending time with her grandchildren.
Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Emily Joyce; father of her children, Max Wilson Jr.; and brother, Danny Joyce.
She is survived by her loving husband, Bryant Prater; daughter, Valerie LaPorta (Mike Szabo); son, Christopher Wilson (Mayra Wilson); stepdaughter, Amy Patton (Roger Patton); stepson, Aaron Prater (Carolyn Prater) grandchildren, Jesse LaPorta, Jennifer LaPorta Maxwell A. Wilson (Alyssa F. Wilson), Chelsea A. Wilson, Jack R. Wilson, Nathaniel Patton, Braylon Shewmaker; and many more loved family and friends.
