William Allen Thomasson, Sr.

William Allen Thomasson, Sr. was called home to be with the Lord on October 27, 2023, in the comfort of his own home at the age of 83.

William was born on March 28, 1940, in Fort Worth, Texas to L.A. Thomasson and Hugh Marjorie Brannon Thomasson. He married Patricia Ann Graves Thomasson on April 4, 1959, in Arlington, Texas and spent 64 wonderful years together.  William received his education through Baptist Seminary and went on to become an ordained minister at Grace Temple, Inc.  He worked for Western Electric Lucent for 35 years. William proudly served our country in the United States Air Force.  He really enjoyed music and was a fiddle player with the Good News Band.

He is preceded in death by his parents, L.A. Thomasson and Hugh Marjorie Thomasson.

William is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Ann Graves Thomasson; daughters, Amanda Thomasson, Trecia Thomasson (Manuel Moreno); son, William Allen Thomasson (Maria); sisters, Marjorie Laymance, Mary Fuqua (Jasper); grandchildren, Kristina Cruz and Ricardo Cruz, Megan Truesdale and Jake Truesdale, Mark Thomasson, Victoria Andrews, Lane Andrews, Belle Morales, Bethany McGowty, Chloe McGowty; great-grandchildren, Mason Truesdale, Ian Jeter, Austin Truesdale, Liam Cruz; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
