Vicki Dianne White (Gardner)

Vicki Dianne Gardner White, age 62, of Arlington, TX, went to be with Lord Jesus on December 14, 2021
at her home in Arlington.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday on December 21st, 2021, at Skyvue Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens at 7220 Rendon Bloodworth Road, Mansfield, TX 76063 with Reverend Darrel Beggs of Central Baptist Church officiating. By request of Vicki, visitation for family members only will be held from 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM preceding the funeral service. Guests may arrive between 9:30 AM – 10:00 AM. Burial will follow the funeral service at the same location of the funeral home.

Vicki was born in Dallas, TX to Jimmie Gordon Gardner and Larry Joe Gardner on September 14, 1959.
She went to school at Sam Houston High School in Arlington, TX and attended Baylor University in Waco,
TX for one year. She married Roger Kip White on March 27th, 1982, in Arlington, TX. She later attended
Tarrant County Junior College, now Tarrant County College, where she earned a degree in nursing. She
worked as a RN at Arlington Memorial Hospital for 2 years and then dedicated the remainder of her
career serving the physical needs of children by working at Cooks Children’s Hospital for a total of 25
years. It was there where she spent most of those years in pediatric oncology and cardiac/renal care.
She enjoyed reading, doing puzzles, traveling, cross-stitching, and any form of arts and crafts. The most
important things in her life were her career, spending time with family, and her faith in Christ. She was
proud to perform a difficult job of helping sick kids, gained the most pleasure by raising her children and
grandchildren, and was most comforted knowing salvation was secure through the work of Jesus.
Vicki is preceded in death by her grandmother Dimple Gordon, grandmother Maggie Gardner,
grandfather Winford Gardner, uncle Jack Turner, and aunt Kay Turner.

Vicki is survived by her husband, Kip White, sons Cody White and Carl White, daughters-in-law Meghan
White and Daria White, sister Penny Brewer, brother Greg Gardner, brother-in-law Darrell Brewer,
sister-in-law Colleen Gardner, parents Larry Gardner and Jimmie Gardner, grandchildren Evangeline
White, Emmeline White, Oliver White, and Nolan White. Several other nieces, nephews, cousins, and
other family members who loved her and will miss her as well.
Pallbearers will be Richard Cichon, Odes Mitchell, Darrell Brewer, Brandon Brewer, Bryan Davis, Greg
Gardner, Bill White, and Matt Kuykendall.

Flowers may be sent directly to the funeral home if you so choose. The family of Vicki wishes to extend
our sincere thanks to all the extended family and friends who had the opportunity to visit with her in the
last few months. Whether in person, through video calls, text messages, or even written letters, it truly
brought joy to Vicki to spend this time with each of you and receive loving notes It is something the
family will treasure for the years to come.
