Milton Scott “Scotty” Webb, 84, of Fort Worth Texas passed away peacefully
to be with the Lord and surrounded by family, on February 11, 2021. He was
a member of Highland Church of Christ in Fort Worth. He was born to Austin
and Arlington "Arlie" Hadley Webb on January 17, 1937 in Fort Worth, Texas;
where he grew up riding horses and working with his father in the cotton
business. His father taught him the value of hard work which he in turn
passed on to his family. Scotty’s famous quotes include; “If you are
working you are making money, if you aren’t working you are spending money”
and “You reap what you sow in work and relationships.”
He is survived by his wife, Pamela Webb and his four children, Debbie
Martin and her husband Doug, Scott Webb and his wife Karen, Steve Webb and
his wife Michelle and Lisa Webb Townzen, step-children Jesse Fowler, Rhonda
Rhoades, Tracy Rhoades and Ronald Rhoades as well as 12 grandchildren and
18 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Joan
Webb and his Uncle Ray Gibbons who he held a lifelong friendship with.
Services are to be held at Skyvue Funeral Home in Mansfield on February 22,
2021 at 10:00 am and a graveside burial will be at Mitchell Cemetery in
Iredell Texas at 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations
be made to Alzheimer's research. Even when Alzhtimer’s took his memories it
did not take his sense of humor or sweet personality.
