Michael Allen Tumbleson was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on October 14, 1959 to Leo Dale and Janet Carolyne Tumbleson where he grew up near a lake in Fort Wayne, Indiana with his four siblings.
He enrolled in the Army in 1978 at the age of 19 years old. He continued his Army Career for 13 years with assignments in Fort Bragg, North Korea DMZ Zone, Wurzburg Germany, and Fort Lewis Washington. Michael was a border patrol sharp shooter, Military Police and Military Intelligence.
Amidst his Army Career, he married Kelly Jeanne Mills in May 1987 and was married for 35 years. Michael and Kelly have two children: Joseph Bradley (born in Puyallup, WA) and Alyssa Marie (born in Fort Lewis, WA). They have two grandchildren– Lena Marie and Landon Dallas.
After his time in the military, he held various jobs from mechanics to commissioned security officer before retiring in 2014. He enjoyed collecting Marvel and DC comic books, rooting on the Oakland Raiders, watching movies/shows, and spending time with loved ones.
His fun personality, jokes, and silliness will be something we will truly miss. He was so loved by his wife, children, grandchildren, family and friends. In our hearts he holds a place, no one else will ever fill.
