James Torres, 28 – Irving, Texas. “A man after Gods own heart and a loving husband, father, step-dad, son, brother, uncle and friend.”
James was born in March of 1992 and was ushered into glory to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 26, 2021.
James worked as a builder in Celina, Texas and truly enjoyed what he did as a profession. Work associates have said, “you don’t get builders like him”. He was not only a builder of houses, but a builder of people. James was a man who commanded respect and loyalty from everyone he met. He was also the most thoughtful person anyone can come to know. He could instantly change your mindset and your mood with a couple of encouraging words. James was saved and baptized at DFW New Beginnings Church in Bedford, Texas and enjoyed reading the Bible. God’s word was truly a lamp unto his feet and he would always say, “God is so good”.
James is survived by his wife, Marissa Rodriguez, daughter Maci Torres, step-daughter, Jacel Lara, mother, Maria Zamarripa, step-father, Francisco Barrera, and brothers Jino, Rocky, Andy Torres and David Barrera, niece Avaleigh Torres, nephews, Lincoln and Logan Torres and many uncles, aunts and cousins.
