With profound sorrow and deep love, we announce the passing Tamar Jaqueline, who left this world to go and be with the Lord on March 21, 2026. A devoted mother, cherished daughter, beloved sister and loving fiancée. Tamar was the heart of her family and a light to all that knew her. She was the proud mother of three children, who were the greatest joy of her life and the center of everything she did.
Tamar was born on September 20, 1987, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Lola Mince and James Farley. She loved to sing and play her guitar, working out, going to concerts, and riding Rebelita Moto. Spending time with her kids was always the most important to her, and she had impeccable work ethic and values stemming from her strong faith.
Tamar was deeply rooted in her faith and actively involved in her church, where her compassion, generosity, and joyful spirit touched countless lives. She had a rare gift of making people feel seen and loved, and it was often said that she could light up every room simply by walking into it. Her laughter, kindness, and unwavering faith will forever remain in the hearts of those blessed to know her.
She will be truly and deeply missed.
Those left behind to cherish Tamar’s memory are her fiancé, Joshua Worthington; her children, Sasha Oliva, Erik Oliva, and Isaiah Mitchell; her mother, Lola Davis, and her "other dad", John Davis; her sisters, Merissa Collins and her husband, Andrew Miller, Julene Collins, and Leanne Caldwell; her brother, Rickey Collins; her nieces, Hailey Ortiz Hernandez, Meleena Owens, Meridoc Henderson, and Morgan Vollert; her nephews, Nathaniel Troutman, Alex Ortiz Hernandez, Mike Vicencio, and James Collins, along with so many other loving family members and friends.
