Karen Steyer

Karen Lynette Bicknell Steyer passed away on April 7th, 2018 in Fort Worth, TX.

Karen is survived by her son, Jared Steyer, whom she loved dearly. She is also survived by her parents, Brian Bicknell of Burleson, TX and Dorothy Bicknell of Fort Worth, TX, and by her sister, Pam Roberts and husband Terry Roberts of Burleson, TX, her brother Danny Bicknell of Fort Worth, TX, nieces Elicia Cook, Andria Cook, Kim Brannon, Dawniece Bicknell, and Rachel Bicknell, nephews Mathew Cook and Joshua Bicknell, numerous cousins, aunts, uncles.

Karen was born on December 17, 1959 in Fort Worth, TX. She graduated from Burleson High School in 1978. She later moved to North Richland Hills, TX where she resided with her son Jared and their beloved puppy, Hope. Karen worked as an accountant for more than twenty years. She was known for her creative talents and enjoyed making jewelry, writing, and drawing. Most importantly, Karen loved the Lord. Her journals were filled with scriptures and poems about her faith. Karen had a scripture to fit every situation, and shared those messages with those who needed them most.
