Steven W. Wood

Steven W. Wood, a devoted Audio and Video Technician, passed away on March 23, 2026, at the age of 41. Born on January 16, 1985, in Arlington, Texas, Steven was a gifted individual whose passion for audio, video, and computers defined much of his life and career.

Steven’s enthusiasm for technology and multimedia was evident from an early age. He immersed himself in anything related to audio and video, continually seeking to expand his knowledge and skills. His dedication to his profession was matched by a commitment to his faith and community. He was a proud and active member of Blessed Hope Baptist Church of Kennedale, TX, a cornerstone in his life that brought him great pride and fulfillment.

Steven’s loss is deeply felt by his loving family and friends. He is survived by his father, Roger Dale Wood; his brothers, Timothy Ryan Wood and wife Amie, and Matthew Jacob Wood. He also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and nieces who cherished him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Mary Wood, and his grandparents, A. Wood and Maudie Irene Wood, as well as Sam Houston Simmons and Ella Mae Simmons, whose memories he held close.

Steven’s life was a testament to the power of dedication, passion, and faith. He will be remembered not only for his technical expertise and love of computers but also for the warmth and kindness he showed to those around him. His legacy lives on in the hearts of his family and the community he served so faithfully.
