Stacy Ann Crampton, 57, passed away on November 22, 2025. She was born on September 15, 1968, in Beloit, Kansas, to Garey and Christine Corbett, and grew up with her two brothers, Ken and Doug.
Stacy graduated from Grand Junction High School in 1987 and later made Austin, Texas, her home for most of her adult life. She married Mitch Crampton, and together they shared 22 years of marriage before divorcing in 2011. They remained united in their love for their son, Bailey, whom Stacy cherished above all else.
Stacy was active in PTA and took great joy in supporting Bailey’s schools and activities. Some of her happiest memories were spent watching him play baseball. Outside of family life, Stacy had a deep passion for running; she completed several marathons and loved the freedom and community the sport brought her.
Stacy fought cancer with remarkable strength for several years. She found comfort and encouragement in an online support group—where she was known as Grace—and the friendships she built there supported her throughout her illness. The family extends heartfelt thanks to Kelley E. for her kindness and support during Stacy’s final year.
Stacy will be remembered for her resilience, her love for her family, and the determination that carried her through both life’s joys and challenges. She is survived by her son, Bailey, and his wife Taylor; her mother, Christine; and her brothers, Ken and Doug.
