Mr. Babatunde Oluyemi Soremekun was born on January 16, 1952, to Chief A.E.A Soremekun and Mrs.
Mary Olawunmi Soremekun. He had his elementary education at Methodist Primary School and his
secondary education and A levels at Government College Ibadan Nigeria between 1965 to 1971. He
completed his bachelor’s in science in Chemical Engineering at the Loughborough University of Technology London in 1976 and went ahead to complete his Masters’ program at the Imperial College of
Science and Technology London in Advanced Chemical Engineering in 1977.
Babatunde loved the Lord and was an ardent member of the Redeemed Christian Church of God.
He is survived by wife Mrs. Oluyinka Soremekun, children, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces, and
nephews.
