Patricia was born in Fort Worth, Texas on September 6, 1956, the seventh child of ten, to the parents of Allen and Edna R.H. Smith. Her formal education was at Como Elementary through High School (Fort Worth, TX), having graduated from Green B. Trimble Technical High School in 1974 (Fort Worth, Texas). She attended the University of Texas at Arlington.

Her passion for technology afforded her a career at Baylor University Medical Center (Dallas, Texas) as a Network Administrator in Information Technology. Patricia was always involved in church, having grown up in the Church of God in Christ. She had a perfect alto voice, sang at her local church and traveled nationally with the Texas Northeast Gospel Choral Ensembles under the leadership of Sis. Annie Hogan.

Patricia became an ordained minister, missionary and evangelist; traveling throughout the United States. Some of her additional roles in church service included: sound room technician, elder, drummer, teacher, preacher, and altar worker at Heavenly Gospel Church of God in Christ (Fort Worth, Texas). Minister Pat continued in ministry and was employed by The Chosen Vessel Cathedral (Fort Worth, Texas). Patricia later founded and pastored The Rivers of Power Church (Arlington, Texas).

For the past five years, Pastor Pat was a member at Nichols Temple Church of God in Christ (Fort Worth, Texas). Most recently, she was a member of The Church in the Air, with Apostle Lillie LaGrant. She remained focused on her mission: to bring souls to Christ and see people healed, delivered and being set free. Pastor Patricia Smith was dedicated in life, through service and ministry as unto the Lord.

Laid to rest in God’s glory before her are: Allen Sr. (father); three brothers: Frank, Robert, Allen Jr.; & three sisters: Ozierene, Edna Jean, Verlena Gail.

Patricia leaves to celebrate her glorious homegoing: Edna (mother); three sisters: Ellawese, Ellen, Evelyn (Ray); four nieces: Yvonne (Roger), ReNita (Dwayne), Pamela, Adrienne; five nephews: Eric, Allyn, Andrae (Sarah), Lee, Thomas; and a host of great nieces and nephews, relatives, and friends.
