Sandra Kathleen Young

Sandra “Sandy” Kathleen Young, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away of a broken heart on October 29^th, 2023 in Arlington, Texas.

Sandy was born to Charles Barber and Lillian Miller in Inglewood, California on September 14^th1943. She married the love of her life, Roger Young, in 1976 and together they moved to Texas in 1979.

Sandy is preceded in death by her husband Roger Young, parents Charles Barber and Lillian Miller, and sister Carol Rose.

She is survived by her son Randy Roysdon and wife Renee, Son Brett Young and wife Stacy, Brother in Law Tim Young and wife Patti, Grand Children: Rusty Roysdon and Wife Leanne, Robin King and husband Matt, Alexzandrea Young, Lisa Vasquez and husband Javier, Jamie Gutierrez and husband Rey, Cydney Caylor, Nathan Caylor, and Lance Caylor, and an astonishing 22 great grand-children: RJ, Alexander, Everett, Elliott, Sterling, RaeLynn, Athan, Jaden, Mikah, Christian, Christopher, Elias, Alexander, Gabriel, Giselle, Kimberlynn, Savannahlynn, Bently, Jessielynn, Junnilynn, Ryan, and Brookelynn.

In the 80 years that Sandy lived, she was many things to many people. She was a daughter, mother, wife, aunt, grandmother, colleague, and friend. She truly had a heart of gold and always looked out for others. We will miss Sandy and she will be remembered for her kindness, love, and friendship.

Funeral services will be held on November 14^th, 2023 at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
