Sandra Baker

Sandra Jean Baker of Burleson, Texas was born on November 26, 1944 to J.N. and Gwendolyn Johnson. Sandra gained her heavenly wings on May 29,2026, at the age of 81.

Sandra graduated from Burleson High School in 1963. She met James Baker and they eloped and got married on September 4, 1964. They were married 62 years. She worked at Burleson Hogh School Cafeteria and then at F & M / Community Bank for several years. Sandra loved playing the piano at her church and was a devout Christian. She loved her lord with her heart and soul. She loved Cooking, gardening, and she loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren with a passion.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Rev. J.N. and Gwendolyn Johnson, Her brother, Bill Johnson, Her sister, Patsy Cole, and her beloved daughter, Gina Pierce.

Sandra is survived by her husband, James Baker and her daughters, Dana Wood, Dena Harris and husband Phil, 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

She was loved by everyone who met her, her contagious laugh and mischievous smile made her easy to love. We know she is rejoicing in Heaven with her lord and savior.
