Samuel Luna, Sr.

Samuel Luna, Sr. has peacefully gone to be with the Lord on January 10, 2026, at the age of 80.

Samuel was born on May 19, 1945, in Jimenez Del Teul, Zacatecas, Mexico, to Severa Gonzalez and Sebastian Luna. He married Maria De Jesus in October of 1971, in Jimenez Del Teul. He worked for Southwest Metal Treating for over 25 years, and was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary in Fort Worth, Texas. He loved relaxing, and was a very spiritual man.

Samuel's family would like to extend a special thank you to Maria, a caregiver, who came with a positive attitude, as well as all the nurses at Prayful Hospice who showed him kindness everyday.

Samuel is preceded in death by his father, Sebastian Luna.

Those left to cherish Samuel's memory are his wife of over 54 years, Maria De Jesus Luna; his daughters, Rosalba Luna and Elizabeth Luna; his sons, Adalberto Luna, Jesus Luna, and Samuel Luna, Jr.; his sister, Elena Luna; his brother, Pablo Luna, along with many beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.
