Sam Burgess

Sam Burgess of Burleson, Texas came to rest his hardworking hands on April 14, 2024, at the age of 59.  Sam was born on July 16, 1964, in Fort Worth, Texas to Bill Burgess and Sandra Bassham.  He married Christi Burgess (Cross) in Alvarado, Texas on October 31, 2015.

Sam is preceded in death by his parents, Bill Burgess and Sandra Bassham.

He leaves to cherish his memory and continue his legacy his loving wife, Christi Burgess; sons, Sam Burgess and wife Ashley, Chandler Collins and wife Elizabeth, Dustin Burgess and wife Ulva; daughter, Ashlyn Braddock; sisters, Lollie Burgess, Ginny Hancock, Billie Paris and husband Cliff; grandchildren, Dakota Brenden, Peyton Burgess, Carliee, Chloee, Clairee and Carsyn Collins, Eden Hannah and Elliana Burgess; along with numerous other loving family and friends whom he has brought many brighter days.
