Lester Russell, of Arlington, Texas, formerly of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2023 at the age of 69.
Graveside Service: 12:00 PM Friday, April 21, 2023 at Cope Cemetery, Burleson, Texas.

Lester was born on June 15, 1953 in Fort Worth, Texas to Bobbie Elaine Burnett Russell and Robert Doyle Russell.
After high school, he went on to serve in the United States Air Force from 1972-1975 as an MP, he also proudly served in the National Guard. After his service, he continued his education by getting his associate degree from Texas A&M, and eventually also went on to receive his Master Plumber License with the State of Texas. Throughout the years, he worked for the City of Arlington Public Water and Wastewater, City of Sampson Park, L&T Plumbing where he was the owner, City of Kennedale, and various other plumbing companies. He was also at one time former law officer and a defensive driving instructor.
In his free time, Lester loved to stay active. He enjoyed martial arts, boxing at Golden Gloves, teaching classes, playing softball, and spending time outside with his dogs- Wolf and Sasha.
He is preceded in death by his son, JR Russell.
Lester is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Leticia Russell; daughter, Tabitha Russel and wife, Amber Windle; granddaughters, Morgan and Mykenna Windle; Joseph Eyambe and family, numerous brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins of the Russell and Burnett families, and too many close family members and friends to mention, all whom he loved and adored greatly.
