Robert Paul Skaggs

Robert Paul Skaggs left for his final hunt September 1, 2024, at the age of 71.

Paul was born June 28, 1953, in De Leon, Texas, to Robert Stanley Skaggs and Marinell Otwell Skaggs.

June 4, 1971, in Everman, Texas, Paul married the love of his life, Diana McDonald. For 43 years, he worked for Vandervoorts Dairy and finished out 4 years with S&S Funiture. Paul attended Grace Temple. He could often be found reading a good book, watching classic westerns, and always out during hunting season.

He is preceded in death by his mom, Marinell Skaggs and dad Robert Stanley Skaggs.

Paul is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Diana Skaggs; his sons, Robert Micheal and Julie Skaggs, Stephen Wayne and Laura Skaggs, Mark Timothy and Chrystal Skaggs; grandchildren, Morgan Jones and Michael, Taylee Skaggs, Madison Skaggs and Caysen, Kenzie Skaggs, Travis Skaggs, Savannah Skaggs; great-grandchildren, Tex Vinson, Gracie Vinson, Harper Jones; as well as a host of family and friends that will deeply miss Paul.
