Fort Worth

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing
of Robert Easter, our beloved Dad and Grandfather. Bob was a man who
cherished life, cherished his loved ones, and left an indelible mark on
everyone he met. His departure on May 31st, 2023 has left a void in our
lives, but his memory will forever shine bright in our hearts.

Graveside service: 1 pm Monday, June 5, 2023 at Everman Cemetery, Everman TX.

Bob was a man who embraced life's pleasures and found joy in every
conversation he had. His love for a good discussion was contagious, and he
had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel valued and heard. Whether it
was sharing tales of his travels or engaging in lively debates, he had a
way of bringing people together for a good time.

Adventure was the fuel that ignited Bob's spirit. He had an insatiable
curiosity about the world and embarked on countless hiking and traveling
escapades. From the majestic peaks of the mountains to the vast plains, Bob
traversed the United States and beyond, immersing himself in the beauty and
diversity of nature. As a sailor and a pilot, he soared through the skies
and navigated the open waters, always seeking new horizons and embracing
the freedom and tranquility they offered.

Bob's resilience was tested when he faced a battle with cancer. Through it
all, he displayed unwavering strength and fought with courage with his
beloved wife, Lonna by his side.

Lonna's passing in December was a profound blow to Bob. Their bond was one
of deep connection and shared adventures, and the memories they created
together will forever be treasured.

Bob had a refined taste for the finer things in life. He enjoyed the
elegance of a nice dinner, complete with white tablecloths and the perfect
ambience. But he was equally at home in a good bar, savoring a well-crafted
beer and relishing the camaraderie of his friends and family. He had a
knack for finding joy in the simple pleasures and taught us all to
appreciate the little things that make life extraordinary.

Above all, Bob's love for his family knew no bounds. He wore his affection
for each and every one of us on his sleeve, expressing it often and without
reservation. His presence filled the room with warmth and laughter, and his
wise counsel was sought after by many. Bob's legacy will live on through
the love he shared with us, and we will forever be grateful for the
memories and lessons he imparted.

Bob Easter's indomitable spirit will continue to guide us. As we celebrate
his life and mourn his loss, let us remember the joy he brought into the
world and the impact he had on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
May his soul find eternal peace, and may we find solace in the love and
memories he leaves behind.

Rest in peace, dear Papaw. You will forever be missed, cherished, and loved.
