Robert Lee Carter

Robert Lee Carter, 79 passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 17, 2025.

Robert was born to Guy Wayne Carter and Mary May Imbody on February 16, 1946, in Quakertown, PA and preceded him in death.

He worked hard throughout his life to provide for his family and took pride in everything he did. He retired from Medstar, where he was a building maintenance technician. Prior to that he worked at General Motors.

Robert was a man of many passions. He loved horses, classic cars and reminiscing about the past. His stories, laughter, and steadfast presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela Diane Carter of 52 years. His daughters: Dedra Albin and spouse Ronnie, and Joy Gilley. Grandkids: Casey Morris and spouse Morgan, Toby Morris and spouse Lauren, Brandon Albin and spouse Lori, Brady Albin and fiancé Nikki, Ryan Gilley and spouse Cecelia, and Levi Kennemer. And his cherished great grandchildren.

Robert is also survived by his brother Richard Carter. Sisters: Joan Russell, Betty Ann Pendleton and spouse Ronnie, and Loretta Goff; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who will treasure his memories.
