Richard Kevin Brink, a steadfast and devoted man whose life was woven deeply into the fabric of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away on April 17, 2026. Born on May 25, 1960, in Waco, Texas, Richard’s journey began with the simple foundations of a high school education, but it was his hands, heart, and unyielding spirit that truly defined him.
Richard's career was one marked by versatility and hard work. From the heights of roofing projects to the detailed brushstrokes of painting, and the all-encompassing roles he performed at WM Automotive, Richard was a craftsman of enduring skill and unwavering dedication. Each task he undertook was etched with diligence, a testament to his commitment and integrity.
More than his labor, Richard found joy and solace in the simple pleasures—watching the fervor of football and wrestling, the intricate dance of strategy in World of Warcraft, and the convivial moments played out over a game of dominoes. These were the threads that colored his days, giving warmth and rhythm to his life.
Central to Richard’s existence was the love he shared with his family. He married Lea Ann Moffett on March 11, 1981, in Fort Worth, a union that blossomed into a deep partnership anchored in love and mutual respect. Together, they raised three sons: Steven, Daniel, and Cody Brink, who carry forward his legacy in their own lives. His family circle extended wide—sisters Karen Fogarty and Paul Fogarty, Diana Selman and Dan Selman, Stephanie Reynolds, brothers Billy Brink and Neva Brink, Ricky Brink, Craig Brink and Teresa Brink, and Shory Brink and Belinda Brink, each name a chapter in the story of his life. The light of his grandchildren, Zachary Ross and Andrew Ross, and the cherished company of numerous nieces and nephews, further enriched his world.
Richard was also deeply valued by his special family and friends, including Saul Concepcion and family, who stood as pillars of support and companionship throughout his life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy Brink and Sarah Coombs, whose memories undoubtedly lived on through his stories and the enduring values he upheld.
Richard Kevin Brink’s passing leaves a profound void, but also a vivid tapestry of memories and love—his hands built much, yet it is the hearts he touched that remain forever built upon the foundation of his life. In the quiet corners of Fort Worth and the joyful laughter shared over games and gatherings, his spirit endures.
