Jack Frederick Redwine

Jack Frederick Redwine, of Joshua, TX passed away on December 14, 2020.

Celebration of Life: 1:00pm Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Skyvue Funeral Home.
A gathering will be held after the service at 160 Trailwood Dr, Joshua, TX, lunch will be served.

He was born on February 16, 1930 to Henry and Hazel Collier Redwine. He married Jeannette Gates Redwine on June 19, 1951.

Jack was in the National Guard and Texas Army National Guard from 1947 to 1958 in the 49th Armored Division, First Sergeant. He worked at Swift from 1949 to 1973, Chickasha 1974 to 1996 and at his "part time job" H&R Block from 1982 to 2007.

In his free time, Jack was a Boy Scouts leader, he enjoyed going to the Crowley Senior Center, bowling and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jack never met a stranger. He always was kind and would help anyone in need. He was honest, kind, hardworking and in the eyes of his daughter, was an angel from Heaven walking on Earth.

Jack is preceded in death by his wife, Jeannette Redwine; grandson, Sunny Jack; sisters, Jean and Louise; brother, Harold Redwine; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Redwine.

He is survived by his daughter, Kelly Herndon and Dora York; son, Eric Redwine; grandchildren, Dee and Will Ennis, Cara Jahn and Tommy Lipkins, Skyler and Alexandria Herndon, Levi and Jordan Burke, Bobby Lee York, Taunja and Tim Fisher, Jessica and Ben Hovland, Trey Herndon and Krystyn Cole, Sawyer and Brandi Herndon; great-great--granddaughter, Bethany Ennis; nieces, Tiffany and Stephanie Gates, Debbie Redwine, Shery Redwine and Jimmy Morrow; nephews, Michael Gates, Michael Hardorf, William Spaith; papa's best friends, Mark Huse, Ruby Harse, Sarah Schultz. In his lifetime he had many loved friends and coworkers. Too many great-grandchildren to individually list but, he has a special bond and relationship with each of them and will be greatly missed by them all.
