Jolynne Cain

June 14, 1971 — July 22, 2023

Burleson

Jolynne Cain (aka. Rebecca ‘Becky’ McBride), age 52, of Burleson, TX, formerly from Charleroi, PA, passed away unexpectedly on July 22, 2023. She was born on June 14, 1971, to Michael R. and Agnes B. McBride in Charleroi, PA, the oldest of four children.

She attended elementary school at St. Jerome’s and received her 8th Grade diploma on June 5, 1985, before attending the Charleroi Area High School. Jolynne excelled in college preparatory courses throughout high school, was a National Honor Society member, participated in various other groups and clubs, and graduated with High Honors in June of 1989.

After graduating high school, she studied nursing at Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Pittsburgh, PA, where she earned her nursing diploma. On 9/17/1991, Jolynne received licensure from the Pennsylvania Department of State, Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse kickstarting her career in the medical profession, following in the footsteps of her mother, grandmother, and several other family members.

In 2011, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from the University of Phoenix, where she graduated with Honors and was accepted into the Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society.

In April 1996, she met Timothy Cain, moved to Texas, and married on October 16, 1997. Jolynne and Tim went on to establish their roots and start a family. She was the beloved bonus mom of Eddie (Stacy) Chappell of Arlington, TX, and Nola (Adam) Nix of Joshua, TX, and proud Mimi of Landon (16), Peyton (15), Kylie (10), and Ava (10). She was also the proud Mom of her dogs, Missy, Annie, and Emmy.

She was more than just a wife, daughter, sister, bonus mom, Mimi, aunt, and friend – she was the beating heart of her family. Jolynne’s love for her family knew no bounds. It was especially evident in every moment spent with her grandchildren. She spoiled them rotten. She cherished her family, and her selflessness knew no limits. Always putting others before herself, she was a pillar of strength and unwavering support for those around her.

As we mourn the loss of Jolynne, let us remember her as a beacon of love and a role model for us all. Jolynne’s memory will forever live on in our hearts, and her legacy of putting family first will be a constant reminder of how we can make a difference in the lives of those we hold dear. All who loved her dearly will never forget her selflessness, undying love, and care for others. You will be incredibly missed, but your love will live on forever.

She is survived by her loving husband, Tim; children, Eddie (Stacy) Chappell of Arlington, TX, and Nola (Adam) Nix of Joshua, TX; grandchildren: Landon, Peyton, Kylie, and Ava; mother: Agnes McBride; sister: Mary (Michael) Hodgson; two brothers: Michael (Heather) McBride Jr and Chris (Cheryl) McBride; nieces and nephews: Zachary, Dakota, Kaylee, Dylan, Brianna, Brooke, Hunter, Garrett (Bue) and Xavier; and six Aunts: Mary, Barb, Peggy, Jo, Pattie, and Cathy as well as beloved cousins and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Michael McBride Sr, and grandparents Ralph (Helen) Allen of Charleroi, PA, and Andrew (Ruth) McBride of Uniontown, PA.

There will be a private ceremony with only close family members and no public visitation. Arrangements are being handled by Skyvue Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, Mansfield, Texas.
