Gertrude Ramsey, 85, passed peacefully Saturday, May 11, 2013, at her home.
Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Saturday, May 18, in Skyvue Victoria Chapel. Interment: Skyvue Memorial Gardens. Wake: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Skyvue Funeral Home.
Gertrude was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Ramsey; son, Fred Ramsey; her parents; Six siblings; and granddaughter, Tyra Sampson.
Survivors: Son, Tyrone Sampson; daughter, Hattie Ramsey-Harris; grandchildren, Fred Ramsey, Christopher Ellis and D'Kayla Harris; Four great-grandchildren; and numerous other family and friends.
