Pauline LaRue "MeeMaw" Murdock, born on March 20, 1942, in Fort Worth, Texas, passed away peacefully at her home in Cleburne, Texas, on February 20, 2026. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother who touched the lives of many through her warmth and dedication to family.
Pauline grew up in Fort Worth before meeting the love of her life, Frank “Dick” Murdock. They celebrated their union on April 8, 1957, and together they embarked on a journey that would last 53 remarkable years until his passing. Their marriage was a tapestry of love woven with laughter, shared dreams, and the joys of raising their children.
Most of Pauline's life was spent in Burleson, Texas, where she took on the esteemed role of a devoted mother. She found immense joy in nurturing her family, tending to her garden, and dancing. Her home was a sanctuary, often filled with the joyful sounds of children, as she thrived in the company of loved ones. She wasn't truly happy unless she had a houseful of kids, filling each room with laughter and life.
Pauline is survived by her cherished sons, Travis Murdock and his wife Bitsy, and Richard Murdock and his wife Lori, both of Grandview, Texas; and Paul Murdock of Cleburne, Texas. Her loving daughters, Trina Pack and her husband Michael of Venus, Texas, and Vera Murdock of Cleburne, Texas, carry on her legacy. She is also survived by her brother, Larry Hunter and his wife Caroline of Burleson, Texas. Pauline's gift to the world expands to her 15 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 18 great-great-grandchildren, who will forever carry her spirit in their hearts.
Pauline was predeceased by her husband, Frank Richard Murdock; her daughter, Michelle Wheeler; her parents, Travis and Pauline Hunter; and her brothers, Raymond and Kenneth Hunter.
As we remember Pauline LaRue "MeeMaw" Murdock, we celebrate her life filled with love, laughter, and an unyielding devotion to her family. Her memory will remain a treasured part of all who knew her.
