Paul Lynn Thompson lived life with a spark that touched everyone around him. Known as the life of the party, Paul had a gift for filling every room with laughter, warmth, and unforgettable stories. He loved going out, gathering with friends, and making every moment count. Whether at family celebrations, backyard cookouts, or simple evenings surrounded by loved ones, Paul always found joy in creating memories that will last forever.
He was a proud father and grandfather, cherishing every moment shared with his loved ones. His family consists of his beloved spouse, Leslie (Culver) Thompson; his daughters, Natasha and her husband Robert Dorer, and Lisa along with Billy Parella. He was also the loving father of his sons, Justin and his wife Chelsea Thompson, and Shawn and his wife Jessica Thompson. Paul is survived by his sister, Barbara Brown, who held a special place in his heart, as well as his cherished grandchildren: Avery, Noah, Ryder, Ava, Xzavier, Lexi, Kyler, Nixon, Harrison, and Bella. His grandchildren were his pride and joy, and he rarely missed an opportunity to brag about them or light up with a smile when they were near.
Paul’s love extended beyond his immediate family—he nurtured close bonds with several nieces—Melissa, Alice, Kimberly, Amy, and Kathy—and nephews, Kenneth Jr. and Weldon. His circle of love and friendship was wide, including special family and friends like Mama D, Mike Boman, Hico Bob, Monty Law, Steve Richards, Ronnie Brown, Tracy, Sherell Reed, Cassidy, Ronnie Redman, and Brad and Erica. He treasured these relationships, often reminding everyone how lucky he was to be surrounded by such good people. The family also extends heartfelt thanks to Mama D, Russel, Loj, Sylivia, and Scotty, who stood by Paul with unwavering support and love.
Paul’s interests included fishing and hunting—pastimes that gave him a chance to connect with nature and bond with the people he loved most. But above all, Paul’s greatest joy came from simply being with his family and friends. He had a way of making every gathering brighter, every story funnier, and every person feel welcome. Paul proudly identified as an O.G., a title that reflected not only the respect he earned but also the loyalty, strength, and love he showed throughout his life.
He was predeceased by his parents, Pete Rape and Bernadine Glasgow, his brothers Kenneth and Elden, his daughter Savannah Culver, his son Shayne, and his granddaughter, Baby Grace.
