Freddy Dean Paul, of Azle, Texas, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2022 in Fort Worth, Texas at the age of 75.
Celebration of Life Service: 12:00-1:00pm Visitation, 1:00pm Service, Saturday, October 29, 2022 at By The Word Baptist Church, Azle, Texas.
Freddy was born on March 10, 1947 in Brownwood, Texas to Fred Jasper Paul and Lulu Alice Barksdale Paul.
After completing high school, Freddy proudly served in the National Guard from 1965-1972. He then went on to work as a surveyor for the State of Texas, as an electrician for General Dynamics, a weigh master for General Portland, Lennox Electrician, Tri County Electric Inspector. He then finally worked as the Power Plant Manager at HEB Hospital for 20 years before retiring.
In his down time, Freddy loved to go fishing, golfing, and bowling. However, his favorite pastime was always to be with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Freddy is preceded in death by his parents, Fred Jasper Paul and Lulu Alice Paul; brothers, Darrell Wayne Paul, Daniel Gene Paul.
He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Melba Diane Tiner Paul; children, Diane Deannette Eversole, husband Johnny, Jeffery Dean Paul, wife Lisa; Grandchildren, Ren Eversole, wife Juliana, Derek Eversole, Ashely Shannon, husband Kelly, and Dallas Paul, wife Bonnie; Great-grandchildren, Kayla, Caiden, Kristy, Alexa, Johnny, Payton, and Ethan Eversole, Freya Shannon, and Brooklyn, Jasper and Denver Paul; brothers, Buddy Ray Paul, Bill Joe Paul; and numerous extended family members, loving friends and brothers and sisters in Christ at By The Word Baptist in Azle, Texas.
