In Loving Memory of Patricia Ann Stewart Waldie

October 28, 1953 – October 23, 2026

Patricia Ann Stewart Waldie, affectionately known to all as “Grandma Pat,” passed away peacefully on October 28, 2026, in Fort Worth, Texas, at the age of 72.

Patricia was born on October 28, 1953, in San Antonio, Texas, to John William Stewart and Mary Ann Stewart. She spent the majority of her life in Mansfield, Texas, where she devoted herself to her family, her faith, and serving others.

A woman of unwavering faith and a heart for ministry, Patricia dedicated much of her life to spreading God’s love through Living Word Outreach and the Good News Clubs within Mansfield Independent School District. Through her involvement in church ministry, she touched countless lives and shared her love for the Lord with generations of children and families. During the last several years of her life, Patricia was a member of Central Baptist Church in Mansfield, Texas, where she continued her walk in faith and fellowship.

While her faith was the foundation of her life, Patricia’s greatest earthly joy was her family. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren meant the world to her. Known lovingly as “Grandma Pat,” she embraced not only her own family but also the many children, grandchildren, and friends who became family along the way. Her love extended far beyond bloodlines, and she leaves behind a legacy of kindness, compassion, faith, and unconditional love.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, John William Stewart and Mary Ann Stewart; her beloved husband, Jerry Waldie; and her great-grandson, Alonzo.

She is survived by her sister, Debra Stewart; her daughters, Carolyn Crust and husband David, and Jerri Waldie and fiancé Justin.

She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren: Kaylei Scott; Jordan Graham and husband Clyde; Colby Oliver and wife Rina; Reece Van Dam and wife Christina; Kaleb Oliver and wife Shamara; Alissa Finley; Bo Finley and wife Daylin; Madison Edwards; and Chloe Greene.

Her cherished great-grandchildren include Keelan, Jeremy, Mia, Elena, Kylar, Brinlee, Conor, Isla, Rylann, Parker, Eli, Everlei, Kenzlei, McKenzie, Maverick, Samuel, Lane, and Hudson.

Patricia is also survived by her nieces, Heather Paulk and Hillari Busby, and the list wouldn’t be complete without her adopted grandchildren: Mexican Hayden, White Hayden, Matthew Malone, and Brandon Noble, dear friends, and church family members whose lives she touched throughout the years.

Although her earthly journey has come to an end, Grandma Pat’s love, faith, and devotion will continue to live on through the generations she helped raise, the hearts she touched, and the lives she changed. Her family takes comfort in knowing that her legacy will continue through the love she so freely gave.

She was known to everyone as Grandma Pat, but to those who loved her, she was so much more. She was a blessing, a source of strength, and a beautiful example of a life devoted to God and family. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered. A Celebration of Life honoring Patricia will be held Saturday, November 7, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Central Baptist Church in Mansfield, Texas. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Grandma Pat are warmly invited to gather in remembrance and celebration of her beautiful life.
