Oleksandr Boymistruk

Oleksandr Boymistruk, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2026, in Fort Worth, Texas, at the age of 81.

Born on January 29, 1945, in Ukraine, Oleksandr's life journey bridged continents and generations. His early years were shaped by his roots in Ukraine, a heritage that remained close to his heart throughout his lifetime. He was the cherished son of Timofey and Elizaveta Boymistruk, and grandson of his paternal grandfather, Andrey Boymistruk, his maternal grandfather, Nikofor whom preceded him in death.

With a deep sense of responsibility and dedication, Oleksandr built a life centered on family, faith, and hard work. He was a devoted husband to his wife of 60 years, Mariya Boymistruk, sharing with her a partnership founded on love, commitment, and enduring support. Together they raised a close-knit family that reflects the values and compassion Oleksandr instilled in all those around him.

Oleksandr is lovingly remembered by his three children: daughters Alla Bryant, with her husband Willie Bryant, and Nelya Botsyan, with her husband Vasily Botsyan, and his son Leonid Boymistruk, along with Leonid's wife Larisa Boymistruk. Their lives and accomplishments were a constant source of pride for him.

His legacy continues through his adored grandchildren: Ella Reed, Morgan Reed, Angelica Ozeruga, Paul Ozeruga, Esther Klimkiv, Jayda Bryant, Naomi Bryant, Alexander Botsyan, Jessica Botsyan, Paul Botsyan, Elona Botsyan, Elijah Botsyan, Sophia Botsyan, Daniel, Ksenia, Konstantin, Victoria, Anton, Emmanuela Boymistruk, and Elisey Boymistruk. Oleksandr's wisdom, encouragement, and quiet strength enriched their lives, passing on traditions and lessons they will carry forward. His joy was further multiplied by the presence of great-grandchildren: Rose, Isaiah, Adele, Jeremiah, Giselle, Celine, Michael, and Olivia, each of whom brought him immense happiness and laughter in his later years.

Family ties remained especially important to Oleksandr. He was a caring brother to his sister Valentina and his brother Nicolay, sharing with them a lifetime of memories and mutual support.

Beyond his immediate family, Oleksandr formed lifelong friendships with Aleksandar Tkhorik, Fedor Golovey, and Stephan Pototskiy. His warmth, integrity, and generosity were evident to all who knew him.

Throughout his remarkable life, Oleksandr exemplified resilience, humility, and a steadfast devotion to his loved ones. His memory will be cherished by all who were privileged to know him, and the values he imparted will live on through future generations.
