Barbara O'Haver

Barbara Joyce Henson O’Haver passed away on March 20, 2016 at the age of 71.
Barbara was born on June 28, 1944 in Clovis, NM to J.A. and Waldene Henson. Barbara, her sister Sue Carrol and brother Jerry had a wonderful childhood growing up in New Mexico. Barbara married David Lawlis of Bovina, Texas in 1963 and soon moved to Grand Prairie, Texas where they raised their three children, Connie, Keith and Christie.
Barbara married Terence O’Haver in April 1982. Barbara and Terry enjoyed traveling taking many trips to Jamaica and the family cabin in Red River, NM. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her brother Jerry Henson of LaVeta, Colorado, daughters Connie Morphis of Lubbock, Texas, Christie Baze of Arlington, Texas and Bonnie Peterson of San Antonio, Texas, Sons Keith Lawlis of Austin, Texas, and Randy O’Haver. She was the proud grandparent to Ashley, Trinity, Sam, Jacob, Kevin, Cody, Abigail, Margaret, Jimmy, and Valerie. She was also the proud great grandparent of Kaden, Bryce, Kaylee, Henry, J.C., Paul, Raven and Jenna.
She was preceded in death by her husband Terry O'haver of Arlington, Texas, her parents John Arthur Henson and Waldene Henson of Clovis, New Mexico, sister Sue Carol Stephens of Axtell, Texas, grandson Jimmy Peterson, granddaughter Valerie O’Haver and great grandson Kaden Walter.
