Stacey Earl Nelson, of Fort Worth, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 4, 2022 at the age of 58.

Visitation: 6:00-8:00pm Thursday, December 15, 2022 at Skyvue Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 11:00am, Friday, December 16, 2022 at Skyvue Funeral Home.
Burial: Skyvue Memorial Gardens, Mansfield, Texas.

Stacey was born on August 9, 1964 in Los Angeles, California to Fredie B. Nelson and Betty Jean Nelson (Horton).

He attended school in California and then moved to Texas, where he attended North Texas Job Corps. He then went on to become self-employed, proudly starting and working for his company “Stacey and Sons.” He also worked for Drywall Interiors, LP in Irving, Texas until his passing.

In his free time, Stacey loved playing dominoes, going fishing, and to travel with family and friends. His caring spirit and loving smile will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

Stacey is preceded in death by his parents, Fredie B. Nelson and Betty Jean Nelson; siblings, James Otis Hatfield, Curtis Everett Jeter, Ana Michelle Jeter, Eugene Andre Jeter.

He is survived by his loving wife, Anette Bailey; children, Michelle Wooden, Sinclair Nelson, Stacey Burrell, LaDawn Burrell, Michelle Tyson (Johnny), Tyesha Conley, Robert Bailey; siblings, Leon Jeter, Kenneth Jeter, Jeannette Denise Hanciles, Marcel Marketto Jeter, Edward Louis Nelson; thirteen grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members and loving friends.
