Cheryl Elaine Turner Nelson of Fort Worth, Texas, went to be with our Lord Saturday, August 13, 2022, at the age of 67.
Graveside Service: 10:00 AM Friday, August 19, 2022, at Skyvue Memorial Gardens in Mansfield, Texas.
Cheryl was born November 25, 1954, to Odis Turner and Annie Mae Turner (Dawkins) in Fort Worth, Texas.
She married Tommie Nelson in August of 2008, in Fort Worth, Texas. Cheryl obtained her Associate's Degree and worked as a seamstress, entrepreneur and most of all her love for music allowed her to work as a musician. She knew our Lord and enjoyed praising him at Crossroads Christian Church in Grand Prairie, Texas. She also enjoyed sewing, cooking and baking.
Cheryl leaves to cherish her memory and continue her legacy, her husband, Tommie Nelson; daughter, Lanishia Hicks (Cooke), grandsons, Andrew Hicks (17) and Alexander Hicks (14); along with numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
