Ovella Elaine "Val" Mitchell
September 16, 1953 — April 29, 2022
Ovella Elaine Mitchell (Val), aged 68, passed away April 29th, 2022 in Mansfield, TX. Val was raised in Arlington TX by parents Avery Mitchell and Bertha Mitchell.
Val attended Arlington Baptist College, and graduated from LeTourneau University. She was employed by AT&T, and retired there after 25 years as a loyal employee. She was a devoted Christian who lived her life for Jesus. She will be remembered for her contagious belly laugh, and her ability to make anyone in the room smile. Her sense of humor and loving hugs will be thoroughly missed.
She is survived by sister Teresa Mitchell, brother Kenneth Mitchell and his wife, Karen Mitchell, brother Kyle Mitchell and his wife, Tammi Mitchell, nephew Matthew Mitchell and his wife, Kimberley Mitchell, nephew Joshua Mitchell, niece Kailee Grant and her husband, Douglas Grant, and great nieces and nephews Ash Mitchell, Kai Mitchell, Daisy Grant, and Annabelle Grant. She is predeceased by her loving parents.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 7th, as family mourn the loss, remember her life, and celebrate that she’s with our Lord in Heaven.
