James Louie Mitchell

James Louie Mitchell, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at the age of 79.

Visitation: 6:00-8:00pm Friday, May 6, 2022 at Skyvue Funeral Home.
Graveside Service: 10:00am Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Skyvue Memorial Gardens.
Interment: Skyvue Memorial Gardens.

James was born on June 22, 1942 to Louie Edwin Mitchell and Laura Atha Potter in Fort Worth, Texas.

He graduated from Northside High School and went on to continue his education for two years at Tarrant County College. He then worked as an electrical superintendent.

In his free time, he was a member of his local Moose Lodge for 40 years, he loved camping and having get togethers. More than anything, he loved his dogs, wife and family with all of his heart.

James is preceded in death by Thomas Roy Mitchell.

He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Kay Anne Clay Mitchell; sons, Billy Reynold and wife Tina Reynolds, Doug Reynolds, Curtis Reynolds; sisters, Toy Mash, Bess McDonald, Louise McMains; grandchildren, Tera Reynolds, Isaac Sustaita, Liz Sustaita; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and loving friends.
