Charlotte Louise Melton (Edwards)

Charlotte Louise Melton of Flower Mound, Texas went to be with the Lord Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at the age of 87.

Charlotte was born October 5, 1935, in Dallas, Texas to James Gilmer Edwards, Sr. and Lotus Evelyn Edwards (Senner). She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1952. In May of 1955 she married Malcolm Lynn Melton. Charlotte worked for General Foods as a secretary. She really found joy in mission trips she would go on with the church, snow skiing and other vacations with the family and watching her grandkids race all throughout their life. She was a faithful member of Trietsch Memorial United Methodist Church of Flower Mound.

Those of whom preceded Charlotte in death and welcomed her into Heaven are Malcolm Lynn Melton, James Gilmer Edwards Sr., Lotus Evelyn Edwards, Paula Whalen, James Gilmer Edwards, Jr.

Those that are here to continue her legacy are her son, Michael Lynn Melton and his wife Margaret Ann Melton; sister, Barbara Berrendzen; grandchildren, Justin Melton and his wife Gabby Melton, Michelle Parson and her husband Chase Parson; grandson, Coleten Bazan; nieces, Debra Casner, Patricia Yates, Carrie Whalen; along with numerous other loving family and friends especially her fellow church family.
