A proud alumna of Kennedale High School, Melody’s roots were deeply planted in Texas soil, where she blossomed into a beacon of love and support. Her days were enriched by the laughter and presence of her beloved children and grandchildren. Melody found profound delight in supporting her kids and playing with her grandkids—activities that spoke to the essence of her nurturing nature and boundless affection.

Her legacy lives on vibrantly through her daughter, Cheyanne, and her husband, John Roan; her son, Chance, together with his girlfriend, Emalee; and the light of her life, her grandchildren Landry, Waylon, and Heidi, whose joy echoed the happiness she so ardently fostered. Melody was also a treasured daughter to Delbert and Mary Raines, and Brenda Raines, whose love shaped her from the very beginning. Her bond with her brother, Johnny, and his wife, Amy Raines, was a testament to lifelong connection and familial strength. The embrace of family extended to her nephew, John Boone Raines, and the many cousins who treasured her presence in their lives. Among those who held a special place in Melody’s heart was Brandon Hull, her best friend and steadfast companion in life’s journey.

The community will gather to honor and celebrate Melody’s life on Monday, March 23, 2026, at Skyvue Funeral Home located at 7220 Rendon Bloodworth Rd, Mansfield, TX 76063. The Celebration of Life will commence at 4:00 PM and conclude at 5:00 PM, providing a sacred space for remembrance and homage.
