Melba Fern Rich

Melba Fern Rich went to be with the Lord October 1, 2025, at the age of 79. 

Melba was born July 4, 1946, in Honey Grove, Texas, to Garvin Lee Whitt and Wynola May Whitt. She worked for Haggar Slacks for 20 years in Dallas, Texas. She enjoyed ranching, going hunting and sports. She loves Corny Dogs with mustard and just eating. Melba loved to watch WWE. She had a lot of grandkids and great-grandkids, and loved spending time with the Stewart Family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Garvin and Wynola Whitt; her siblings, Shirley Ann Carroll, Jimmy Lee Whitt, Robert Lee Whitt, Ernest Lee Whit, Jessie Charles Whitt.

She is survived by her children, Clifford Wayne Whitt and Stacey Louise Whiddon; her sisters, Ruby Pearl Miller and Patricia Ann Cruise; along with many beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, loving family members, and friends.
