Thomas Mcclure Sr

Thomas Robert McClure Sr., 80, passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2018.
Visitation: 10 am to 12 noon Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Skyvue Funeral Home with cremation to follow.
Thomas was spent most of his working life at what was then called General Dynamics, and was a man of few words so everyone knew that when he spoke, they needed to sit up and take notice because it would be something worth hearing.
Thomas was from the old school so he would still open doors for women, stand when they entered the room and pardon me was heard from him a lot.
He used to wonder if he had made a difference in this world but when his grandchildren started running to his side to just listen to what he had to say, he knew he had made a big difference and in the lives of people who mattered to him the most.
When anyone saw Bob they also got the privilege of seeing Kiltie, his dog of 14 years and constant companion.
Survivors: Wife, Sherry McClure; sons, Kenneth Robert McClure and wife Julie, Thomas Robert McClure Jr. and Wife Tabatha, clovis Dwain Murphree and wife Cyndi; daughter, Holly Rene Gates and husband Clayton; 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
