Matias Guevara Jr.

Matias Guevara Jr., beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on June 28, 2023, in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born on August 27, 1995, in Fort Worth to Matias and Maria Guevara. Matias was a kind-hearted and gentle soul who touched the lives of all who knew him.

A public viewing will be held on July 1st, 2023 at Skyvue Funeral Home located at 7220 Rendon Bloodworth Rd in Mansfield, Texas, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Following the viewing, a funeral service to celebrate Matias's life will take place at the same location. The funeral service will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, honoring his memory and cherishing the moments shared. Matias will then be laid to rest at Skyvue Memorial Gardens in Mansfield, Texas. 

Matias had a passion for video games and taking long walks, appreciating the beauty of nature while finding solace in its tranquility. Artistic by nature, Matias had a talent for drawing. His sketches were both imaginative and intricate, reflecting his creativity and attention to detail. This artistic spirit extended beyond pen and paper; he also expressed himself through riding four-wheelers, always ready to explore and go on a new adventure. 

Family meant everything to Matias. He cherished spending time with his loved ones and alwyas found great joy from their company. His parents, Matias and Maria Guevara; his sisters Patricia Gomez (Martin Gomez) and Silvia Guevara (Jose Estrada); his nieces Anali Gomez, Yaretzi Gomez, Jade Estrada; his nephews Martin Gomez, Jezreal Estrada, Uriel Estrada; and numerous other family members of the Guevara and Orozco sides — they were the center of his universe. Matias's warm presence and infectious laughter will forever be cherished in their hearts.

Matias's legacy will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him. His loss leaves an unfillable void in our lives but also serves as a reminder to live each day with love, kindness, and compassion — values that he radiated effortlessly.

Matias Guevara Jr. was truly a one-of-a-kind individual whose presence brought joy and happiness into the lives of those around him. May his spirit live on in our memories, and may we strive to embody the kindness and love that he exemplified during his time with us.
