Mary Moseley was a remarkable woman whose life was defined by her deep love for Jesus Christ and her family. For over 40 years, she thrived under the discipleship of Pastor Dr. Gene, Sue and Dr. Austin Lingerfelt, and Aaron Wood at Faith Christian Center. Her commitment to her faith was evident in her work in the nursery, where she formed lasting relationships and mentored countless children.
Married to Maurice Moseley for 64 years, Mary exemplified the virtues of a biblical wife, embodying the spirit of 1 Corinthians 13:4 with her selfless love and unwavering respect for her family.
As the steady anchor among her siblings—two sisters and five brothers—she provided care and comfort, particularly to her father in his final days.
Mary's generosity extended beyond her family; she was a rock for many, offering support, comfort, and financial assistance to those in need. She was dedicated to helping others, ensuring they felt loved as they departed this life.
In her final moments, surrounded by family, Mary wore a beautiful smile as she took Jesus's hand, transitioning to eternal life in heaven. Her legacy as a devoted mother and friend will forever resonate with all who knew her.
Mary dedicated 21 years to the University of Texas at Arlington in the Bursar's Office and cherished the simple joys of life, from traveling America’s backroads to camping with her loved ones. An avid Cowboys fan from the Tom Landry era, she also found joy in gardening and crafting.
Mary, you were deeply loved and will be greatly missed. Until we meet again, your spirit lives on in our hearts. Well done, good and faithful servant.
