Mary Helen Garcia

Mary Helen Garcia, 74, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away on September 15, 2023. She was born on August 5, 1949, in Houston, Texas. Mary was a beloved wife, mother, who worked many years as a property manager.

Mary was known for her kind and generous nature. She had a great sense of humor and could always bring a smile to anyone's face. She was a loving and proud individual who cherished her family and friends.

Mary is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Jaime F. Garcia; daughters, Andrea Jimenez (Gerardo Vega), Karina Jimenez; sister, Martha Vasquez; brother, Daniel Gonzales; grandchildren, Michelle Avitia, Stephanie Avitia, Sylvia Avitia, Estevan Avitia Jr., Jose A. Avitia, Gerardo A. Vega Jr.; great-grandchildren, Annmarie E. Aparicio, Maricela B. Jimenez, Maxemilano B. Jimenez, Nirvana Vasquez, Xyla Vasquez, Axel Vasquez, Zander Vasquez, Daniel Rios Jr., Olivia Rios, Sydney Gonzales, Frankie Gonzales Jr., Luciano Gonzales, Sabrina Gonzales, Mya Avitia, Rosemary Avitia, Jose Avitia Jr., Adrian Vega; nieces, Lisa Gonzales, Lucie Murphree, Julie Marshall, Renee Owens, Amanda Stapleton; nephews, Joe Gonzales, Roy Gonzales; other special family members and friends, Tomas Garcia and family, Maria Landin and family, Daniel Garcia and family, Miguel Garcia and family, Susana Garcia and family.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Maria, father, Jose and daughter, Angela Marie Jimenez.

In her free time, Mary enjoyed spending quality time with her loved ones. She often played bingo with family and friends, and she also enjoyed going on trips to the casino with her husband. These cherished moments brought her great joy and created lasting memories.

Funeral and visitation will be held on September 28, 2023, from 12-3 p.m. at Skyvue Funeral Home in Mansfield, Texas. The funeral services will be conducted by Skyvue Funeral Home, a trusted establishment known for their compassionate assistance during times of loss.

Mary Helen Garcia will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her kindness, generosity, and loving spirit will forever be remembered. May she rest in peace.
