Mary Louise Carson passed peacefully surrounded by loved ones on July 9, 2025, at the age of 80. Mary Louise was born September 3, 1944, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Clarence Anderson and Ethel McCoy Anderson. On June 24, 1960, at Oakview Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas, Mary Louise married George Ray Carson. For 65 years, they shared love and laughter.
In her younger days, Mary worked as a checker at a Riverside grocery store, later at JCPenney's in Richland Plaza, and eventually worked as an electronic assembler for Fort Worth’s General Dynamics and later Elbit of Fort Worth (EFW), from where she retired.
Mary Louise was a believer in her Lord, Christ Jesus. She regularly attended and was active in Church. She taught children’s Sunday School at both Oakview Baptist and Metroplex Chapel. She was active in the Choir and Women’s Ministry at First Baptist Hurst.
Mary Louise had many wide-ranging interests. She square danced with her husband George. She trained in clown ministry with her brother Charles (Andy) Anderson. She developed, Sissy, her clown persona, focusing on clown troop skits and face-painting. She enjoyed hobbies such as collecting plates, needle point and crochet.
Mary Louise was an energetic, vibrant, affectionate woman who loved to coordinate gatherings, for family and friends. She was fiercely loyal. She was “dynamite” in a small frame. Mary Louise was the quintessential Mother, Sister and Friend.
Mary Louise is welcomed into Heaven by her father and mother, Clarence and Ethel Anderson; and her younger brother, Rodney. Those left to remember and cherish Mary Louise's memory are her husband - George Ray Carson; daughter - Julie Ann Carson; son - Johnny Ray Carson and spouse Rosemary Anne Carson (LeGros); brothers - Charles Larkin Anderson, Danny Lynn Anderson; granddaughter - Nichole and her husband David Terry, their children Brooklyn Russell and Malaki Terry, grandson - Phillip LeGros, his children Audrey and Brayden, granddaughter- Bobbie and her husband Daniel Wallace, their children Leo Evans and Johnny Wallace, granddaughter- Mellissa LeGros, her children Ariyana Jenkins, Alaynah, Addyson, Abigail Davis, Lucas McCoy; as well as many more family and friends.
