Mariah Rene Throne born March 26,1999. Passed away unexpectedly May 15, 2024.

Mariah was born to a world not quite ready to provide the life God had planned for her. God hand-picked our family, placed it on our hearts to receive Mariah at the age of three. Mariah joined Darryl and Meloni Throne and their three children Mashelle, Michael and Morgan. Our family was complete. On her fifth birthday, the process of adoption was complete. She officially became a Throne. Mariah quickly became the typical baby of the family. She loved the color pink. She loved make up and dress up and all the high heels which elevated her to the status of “Princess Mariah Throne” which she embraced fully. She would often choose a British accent and remind her dad and I (jokingly) about ”the peasants”. We would all laugh and remind her that you are OUR princess, your kingdom ends in this castle.

Mariah accepted Jesus as her Savior on July 30, 2006. She was active in church as a young girl enjoyed singing, dancing and performing. Mariah started second grade in Midlothian where she graduated in 2017. She was loved by many friends and family.

Mariah is survived by her parents Darryl and Meloni Throne, siblings, sister Mashelle and Gary Holveck, brother Michael and Karen Mills, brother Morgan and Courtney Rasco, nieces Kaylee and Maddie, nephews Garrhett, Trace, Mason and Caden. Along with a host of aunts and uncles and cousins.

Mariah was preceded in death by her grandparents Jackie Johnston, Ralph and Shirley Throne, and niece Sydney Rasco.

Mariah was loved by a host of her biological family that she had reconnected with in her teens. Mariah loved with her whole heart, and she fought with that same intensity. Mariah will be missed, but never be forgotten and will always be “OUR PRINCESS”.

Chapel service, May 21, 2024, at Skyvue Funeral Home in Mansfield, Texas. Internment at Parkdale cemetery Arlington Texas.
