Louette “Lou” Marie Koonce passed away July 21, 2024, at the age of 69.
On a beautiful Valentine’s Day in 1955, Louette was born in Gainesville, Texas to Llyod Koonce and Lillie Mae Overstreet.
For many years, Lou was an administrative assistant for the oilfield.
Louette had a special bond with daughter C’ne. They had each other all their lives. Louette was very proud of C’ne, she was her pride and joy. She had her own special bond with each of her sons, Jason, Randy and her bonus son Ryan. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. She loved them so hard. Her grandbaby Kash was not only her grandson, but her best friend.
Lou loved flowers and tending her garden. She was known to dabble in Bingo, playing games on her tablet, coloring and watching some NASCAR. Lou loved her cats, “Meow-Meow” and “Baby Kitty”. She loved all things purple. Keven Costner was a fav to watch, she loved her diet cokes and she loved watching Yellowstone.
Louette is preceded in death by her mother, father, her sisters Yvonne, Mona, JoAnn, Brenda, her brothers Lloyd, Mack, Ronnie, and her grandson Christian.
Lou is survived by her daughter, C’ne Witte and husband Ryan Witte; sons, Jason Holder, Randy Pratt and Stacy; grandchildren, Tristan and Natalia, Dylan and Brittany, Kadance, Kaleb, Kash, Luke, Lynnlea, Austin, Dylan W. and Jackson; niece, Shelly Suggs and husband Mike; great niece, Samantha Ward and husband Patrick; great-great nephew, Ethan Ward; sisters, Kaye Ann, Lavonna, Donna, Vickie; other family and friends, Parvaneh and Parnian, “Momma Patty”, Dr. Ursla Pandit and numerous other loving family and friends.
