Lap Van Nguyen

Lap Van Nguyen has passed away on December 7, 2024, in Arlington, Texas, at the age of 79.

Lap was born in Vietnam on March 6, 1945, to De Van Nguyen and Bam Thi Nguyen. He married Trong Thi Tran in Vietnam in 1971. He went to Golden West College in California and became a journalist after. He served in the Vietnamese Military as a Field Artillery Commander and Paratrooper. Lap was a member at Vietnamese Martyrs Catholic Church, and he loved travelling, participating in community events, writing, and writing poems.

Lap is survived by his loving wife, Trong Tran; his children, Tiffany Nguyen, Michelle Nguyen, John Nguyen, Jane Nguyen; his grandchildren, Brittany Tran, Brandon Tran, Benjamin Tran, and Stephanie Nguyen.
