Alexander John Kostuk, 66, was called home on Sunday, Oct. 26, 2014.
Inurnment: 11 a.m. Friday at DFW National Cemetery.
Alex was a 1966 graduate of Bullard-Havens Technical High School in Bridgeport, Conn. He was also a Vietnam veteran from 1967-1971 in the U.S. Navy.
Alex was loved and adored by his family for his ability to love them unconditionally, his caring and generous soul, and sharing his faith and hope in our Lord, Jesus Christ. It was Alex's nature to help someone in need, and when the opportunities came along, he would surely try. He knew that no act of kindness was ever wasted.
Alex was preceded in death by his mother, Sarah "Sally" Kostuk.
Survivors: Those left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Elizabeth; daughters, Sally, Christy, Jamie and Whitney; grandchildren, Alex, Jazmine, Olivia, Ashley and Madelyn; and great-grandson, Knox. Alex loved and leaves behind his dad, Nicholas Kostuk; a sister, Sandy Banks; along with many extended family members and friends.
