Kenneth August Peterson of Burleson, Texas, passed away May 6, 2025, at the age of 88.

On June 20, 1936, Kenneth was born in Clyman, Wisconsin, to Stanley Peterson and Elizabeth Baerwald Peterson. 

Kenneth proudly served our nation in both the Korean and Vietnam wars and retired honorably from the Air Force after 20 years. In retirement, Kenneth worked as a motorcade escort for many of the funeral homes in this area, including Skyvue Funeral Home, for 20 years. Kenneth was an active man and did a little bit of everything. Kenneth was a district director of Goldwing Road Riders Association, A member of the Academy of Model Aeronautics, and a retired member of the Order of Legions. Throughout his life, Kenneth found time to enjoy riding motorcycles, working on old cars bringing them back to life, flying model airplanes, dancing, and wood working.

Those who welcomed Kenneth home in Heaven are his parents, Stanley and Elizabeth Peterson, and his sister, Dorla Degnan.

Those left to cherish and keep his memory alive are his wife, Ann Peterson; daughters, Kimberly Peterson, Pamela Kamesch and husband Patrick; grandchildren, Ryan Byars and wife Diana, Megan Smith and husband Don; great-grandchildren, Chase Byars, Emily Byars, Betty Smith; his wife Ann brought to his family her children, Ron Carey (Leslie), D'Ayn Summer (Shawn), grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as a host of many more family and friends.
